sweet potato pikmin

This was a fun exercise to familiarize myself with Unreal Engine again, check out the Megascans Library, and do a little lighting. Big thanks to Miki Hansen and Brian Mullen for the feedback!

I put this mesh through Mixamo and applied a simple walk cycle. I did no skin cleanup to the auto rigging job that Mixamo did. Despite the stretching, it is always fun to see the character come to life. Right click on the video after playing to set to “loop” to showcase the looped walk cycle.

I made a smart material for the sweet potato skin so I can reuse it on other root vegetable Pikmin if I ever decided to do more. I compared a lot of the texture with the sweet potato Megascan which was fun to reference.
